Visitors to the BDSG:

     If you are visiting our site and are not a believer in Christ, please read our Gospel Message.
    If you want to know what we as a group believe, read our Beliefs Page, or our Doctrinal Statement.

Purpose:

   Since, as it says on our Beliefs page, we believe studying the Bible should be done under a qualified pastor-teacher, our "study group" is actually more of a social group.  We converse and post prayer requests and discuss points of doctrine that are mainly applicable to those with similar frames of reference.  We welcome the posts of anyone who has any questions for us about our beliefs or our teachers.

History:

     BDSG was created by Donavon (Jercat) on August 23, 1998, ". . . to join together like-minded Christians who study the Word of God. Anyone is welcome to join. The majority of members are studying under R. B. Thieme, Jr. or R. McLaughlin or other "doctrinally oriented" pastor-teachers. The purpose is to help one another and chat with people that study the Bible "line upon line and precept upon precept."
